Do I need to be fit before trying?
Nope, we welcome people at all levels of fitness and encourage our students to work at a pace that suits them when they begin training with us. Over time and practice your fitness will slowly increase and you will become more and more able to push yourself in class.
How long are classes?
Typically our classes last for an hour with extra time following most classes for weapons practice in long staff and sword. As you progress through our belt ranks your classes will become longer at around 2 hours plus weapons practice.
Do I need to have previous knowledge in self defense?
Almost all our students join us from having zero experience in martial arts or self defence, we welcome people with all levels of knowledge or experience.
